Privacy Policy

FloRun ("the App", "we", "us") is a flow-rate measurement utility for environmental field workers. We are committed to protecting your privacy and to being clear about how the App handles data.

What the App Stores

The App stores the following information locally on your device only:

• Saved measurements — timestamp, elapsed time, captured volume or head-height reading, derived flow rates (gallons per minute, hour, day), volume units, and weir type — for measurements you explicitly choose to save.
• Optional site labels and notes — free-text fields you enter when saving a measurement.
• Optional GPS coordinates — latitude, longitude, and accuracy, captured only when you tap "Save Measurement" and only if you have granted location permission. The coordinates are stored alongside the saved measurement on your device.
• Preferences — last-used unit, last-used weir type, current measurement mode, and stopwatch recovery state. These help the App remember your settings between launches.

What the App Does Not Do

The App does not:

• Transmit any data over a network.
• Send data to any server controlled by us or by a third party.
• Use analytics, tracking, advertising, or telemetry SDKs.
• Share data with any third party.
• Read or modify any data outside its own iOS sandbox.

Permissions

• Location (When In Use) — requested only when you first tap "Save Measurement". You may decline; the App continues to function without coordinates. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → FloRun.

Data Retention and Deletion

Saved measurements stay on your device until any of the following:

• You delete an individual measurement using the in-app delete option (swipe in the History list, or open a record and tap "Delete Measurement").
• The App's automatic 25-record cap removes the oldest measurement when a new one is saved beyond the limit.
• You uninstall the App, which deletes all in-app data along with it.

You can export your saved measurements as PDF or CSV files at any time for your own records.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from any user.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
